TERRE HAUTE -- On April 18, Wabash Valley Social Service Agencies will participate in the 2nd annual Homeward Bound Walk at Dede Plaza, on the Indiana State University Campus in Terre Haute.
The popular event is expected to draw over 200 walkers. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide housing and supportive services for the Wabash Valley homeless.
The event will begin at Dede Plaza at 1 p.m., with registration, culminating with a 2 p.m. walk through campus and downtown area to Wabash Avenue before rerouting back to Dede Plaza.
The Homeward Bound walk is jointly sponsored by the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development and several Wabash Valley Social Service Organizations.
