Leota "Lee" I. Koup, 85 Brazil, passed away at 2:20 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2010, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

She was born March 16, 1924, in Patricksburg, Ind., as the daughter of Glen and Olive Knox Williams. She attended school in Center Point for eight years, then graduated from Brazil High School with the Class of 1942.

Following high school, Lee went to Indianapolis and worked at RCA Records for several years. She then worked at D.A. Oil Corp., for 32 years until her retirement. In 1955, Lee married Donald J. Koup. They enjoyed many years traveling the world. Lee was an avid shopper and a beautiful dresser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, brother Robert Williams, and brother-in-law Augie Minnick.

She is survived by sisters Pauline Minnick, Sherry Lee Farris (Tom) and Mary Jo Frazier (Wayne), brothers Harold Williams (Pat) and Glen Williams (Theresa), and "her kids" Steve, Amy, Taylor and Travis Moore, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 4, at Moore Funeral Home. There will be no services. Private burial will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery in Indianapolis.
