Account set up for area resident

Monday, March 8, 2010

Sandy Dean
A bank account has been set up to accept donations to help a local single mother pay her medical expenses.

A friend of Sandy Dean's notified The Brazil Times about the account at Riddell National Bank on Monday.

Dean, 44, Brazil, apparently suffered a massive stroke Feb. 28.

Working in the medical profession, Dean also volunteered a lot of her time at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Center Point.

According to Riddell National Bank (RNB) Senior Customer Service Specialist Robin Swalls, people can go to any RNB branch in the Wabash Valley and request to make a donation to the account set up for Sandy Dean.

For those wishing to donate -- who live outside of the area, Swalls said they could stop by or send a check to her attention at the bank in care of the Sandy Dean fund.

How to help

To make donations to help Brazil resident Sandy Dean cover medical costs from a recent stroke, stop by any local Riddell National Bank or send a check (made out to Sandy Dean) to:

Attn: Robin Swalls

C/O Riddell National Bank

1 East National Avenue

Brazil, Ind., 47834
