Recently, the Silver Beaver Club of the Crossroads BSA hosted a recognition dinner for scouts who earned the rank of Eagle in 2009.

Three scouts from Brazil Troop 95 were honored, including Josh Lynch, Daniel Stark and Brady Silver.

All the scouts completed requirements for the Eagle Scout rank and completed an Eagle Scout project.

Lynch worked with the Sisters of Providence, while White worked with the Violet Center for Eco-Justice, creating bat houses, wood duck houses and benches for its nature trail.

Stark repaired and painted the utility building and installed a sign for Serving on the Streets in Brazil.

Silvers constructed a dog run and feline climbing center for the Clay County Humane Shelter.
