Mr. Jonathan Ray Herrick, 53, Cloverdale, passed away Friday morning, April 2, 2010, at his residence.
Born April 19, 1956, he was the son of Alfred Andrew Herrick and Shirley Joan Herrick. He married Julie Marcean (Strother) Herrick on Jan. 1. 1988, and she survives. He was a graduate of Rockville High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech College.
He is survived by his wife, mother and mother in-law, six children Billee Leath, Jay and Gena Rinberger, Christopher and Amber Rivers, Elizabeth and son Robert Herrick. A sister Suzann and husband Jeff Walker, grandchildren Rachel Lyn and Jonathan Leath, Kody and Terry Lee Rinberger, Cole and Cameran Rivers, nieces and nephews, brothers Bobby Hamm, George, Michael, Eric, and sister Paula.
He was preceded in death by his father and best friend William Strother.
Jon was well known in Putnam and Hendricks counties. Jon was a computer consultant and programmer. Jon was a successful liver transplant patient on Aug. 3, 2007, at IU Hospital in Indianapolis.
Memorial services will be held at their church, Healing Streams Revival Church on Saturday, April 10, at 1 p.m. The church is located at 6977 West Hwy. 36, Danville, Ind. 46122, on the corner of SR 36 and SR 75, at the blinking light.
Contributions are requested to be made to the Healing Streams Church for the church's food pantry or homeless church ministry.
