Groups combine efforts for Charity Ride

Bucks House of Color and the American Legion Riders will conduct a Charity Ride for Byron and Lisa Halfhill Aug. 14.

The ride will help go to pay for medical expenses. Byron was recently diagnosed with Bone Cancer and his wife Lisa is battling Multiple Sclerosis while also being a Diabetic.

The ride will begin and end at the American Legion Post No. 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil. Food will be available at the end of the ride, provided by the Post 2 restaurant.

Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Cost is $15 for a single rider or $20 for a couple. Cars are welcome for $15 per vehicle.

This is an open ride.

In addition, a silent auction will take place and door prizes will be available. Photographs of motorcycles will also be available by Bucks House of Color.

The event is in need of sponsors. Those interested can sponsor the event for $25 or donate items for the auction and door prizes.
