The Clay County Democrats will have the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner Friday, at Traditions, 105 E. National Ave., Brazil.
The speaker for the evening will be Nancy Michael, Indiana State Representative, District 44.
Social hour will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased by calling Dolores Johnson at 448-3410. All are invited to attend.
Michael serves on the Agriculture and rural development, local government and natural resources committees.
Her speech will focus on the work of legislators and state priorities for 2011.
Democrat candidate for United States Representative in the 8th District Trent Vanhafften will also be on hand at the event.
