Wilmagene B. Philippi, 86, Brazil, passed away at Union Hospital, April 14, 2010, following a brief illness.
She was born May 13, 1923, in Perry Township, the daughter of Adolph and Lucy B. (Haney) Philippi.
Wilmagene attended Van Cleve High School through the eighth-grade and graduated from Cory High School with the class of 1941. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for others.
She was a member of the Mount Calvary United Methodist Church, Mount Calvary Women's Society and the Zion Ladies Circle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margaret LaVern James, brother-in-law George W. James, as well as several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her sister Norma Lee and husband Robert J. Lints, nephew Steven L. Lints, and niece Karen J. Lints, as well as several extended family members.
Services for Wilmagene will be at French Funeral Home, Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home, Saturday, from 11 a.m., until time of services.
