The Annual Staunton High School Alumni Dinner will take place at the Brazil First Christian Church's Family Life Center May 15, at 6 p.m. Chaney Catering Service will provide the dinner. President John DeWeese and the Alumni Dinner committee plan to contact as many alumni as possible via e-mail. If you have a new e-mail address or are not sure the committee has your e-mail address, please contact Bobbie Thomas at PO Box 43, Staunton, Ind., 47881. Invitations should be going out within the next two weeks.

Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building. Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer group meet at 7 p.m.

If you want to ride the bus to Golden Corral for lunch on Monday, plan to be at the church by 11 a.m.

The annual Ladies Tea will take place at 4 p.m., May 14.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Happy birthday to Leslie (Ave) Schane on April 18.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, April 28. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We truly appreciate the support of Staunton First Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
