Clay City third in golf at Linton

LINTON -- The Clay City Eels placed third in a three-way golf match at Linton on Thursday evening. The Eels shot a team score of 190 in a match won by the host Miners with a score of 159. Owen Valley edged out Clay City 189 to 190.

Chase Rhoten was the individual medalist with a score of 38 for the Miners.

Clay City was led by a nine-hole score of 43 from Nick Johnson followed by a 44 from Darius Farmer. Austin Sinders shot a 51 with Colton Dyer carding a 52, Rhett Bigger shot a 54 and Koby Rhodes added a 58 for the Eels.
