Miners rally from 10-run deficit to edge Eels

LINTON -- The Clay City baseball team appeared to be well on its way to a victory at Linton on Thursday night, jumping out to a 12-2 lead after the first three innings. The Miners however didn't give up and rallied back to take a 13-12 victory.

Linton scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and were able to keep the Eels off the scoreboard the final four innings to pick up a Tri-River Conference victory.

Tyler Bridgewater, DJ Newton and AJ Evans all hit home runs for the Eels.
