TERRE HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Genealogy Society will present, Erin Go Bragh, "Ireland Forever," Monday, May 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The doors will open at 6 p.m., in the Vigo County Public Library, Terre Haute.
The speaker, Susan Killin, has been a reference librarian at the Lake County Public Library in Merrillville for 15 years. She is currently the Genealogy/Indiana Librarian and a member of the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society.
Killin is interested in her Irish roots and has been building the library's collection of Irish Genealogy resources. Her many years of Internet and database searching help her to solve genealogy puzzles for her patrons.
Anyone working on their Irish ancestry is encouraged to attend the presentation.
The Wabash Valley Genealogy Society presents programs to the public every month. The programs are open to the public and there is no charge to attend presentations. Refreshments will be available, along with door prizes and handouts.
A Beginner's Genealogy class will be offered again in August and early registration is suggested. Seating will be limited.
The class meets once a week, on Tuesday evenings, for four weeks and the total cost of attending the class is $5, which covers materials.
Reservations must be e-mailed or telephoned to Loran Braugh at 812-535-3618 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
