Candidate lays out version of trustee job description

Friday, April 30, 2010

Hello, my name is Vickie Lawhorn and I am running for Brazil Township Trustee.

I am presently a property manager for Calumet Equity Corp., and Capital Residential LLC.

I co-own Sisters Antique Mall. I have lived in the community all my life.

I have been married for 50 years and I am the mother of three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

I have served in the community as President of the Optimist Club, Vice President of BPW, Vice President of the Democrat Central Committee, a member of the Brazil Township Advisory Board, and President of Clay County B-W.

I have been a business woman in the community since 1967.

I am a member of Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church.

As trustee, I believe the office needs restructured so it will better serve the needs of the community.
