It's time to tend to the health and well being of man's best friends, our pets.
The Clay County Humane Society will once again be sponsoring a Pet Shot Clinic on two consecutive Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., on May 8 and again on May 15. The clinic will take place at the Forest Park Pavilion (Cow Palace).
"All shots are $10 each, which is a little higher than in the past," event organizer Bill Bell told The Brazil Times. "But people will still be able to save a lot of money by using the services available at the clinic."
The four shots available for dogs include the canine 5-in-1 vaccine, Lyme disease, Bortella and Rabies.
The three shots for cats include the feline 3-in-1 vaccine, feline leukemia and rabies vaccine.
Pet owners are urged to make sure their pets are properly and safely restrained during the event.
