The Clay County Health Department conducts immunization clinics for school-aged children on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are available.
Immunization records will be needed and H1N1 vaccines are also available.

Fun Time Fitness and Aquatics will offer an interactive free workshop at 6 p.m., Wednesday.
The program will focus on easy postural and behavioral changes that can camouflage a person's true age.
The workshop will be taught by a certified aquatic fitness instructor. No reservation is necessary.

The Community Theater of Clay County will perform its final production of the season, "The Royal Family," May 6-8.
Doors open each night at 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:30. Tickets cost $25, which includes dinner and show, and may be purchased by calling 442-6909.

Thursday, May 6, will mark Purple Day for Clay County American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
The organization is hoping to raise awareness for the event, scheduled for May 22-23, and is asking all residents to wear purple May 6, or to place a donation can or box at business locations for Relay For Life.

Interested residents are invited to Brazil City Hall Thursday to observe the National Day of Prayer.
Participants will be encouraged to pray for the nation, leaders and military during the event, scheduled to take place at 9 a.m.

The Northview High School Key Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club and Foreign Language Club, Relay For Life Teams will sponsor the purple cow (grape floats) or brown cow (root beer floats) Thursday during all three lunches for only $1.
They will also be selling them during the "Spring Arts Festival," and "Hot Rod Open House," that evening.
