The Friends of the Library will conduct a book sale from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
The sale will take place in the garage across the street from the library.

The Community Theater of Clay County will perform its final production of the season, "The Royal Family," Friday and Saturday.
Doors open each night at 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:30. Tickets cost $25, which includes dinner and show, and may be purchased by calling 442-6909.
Reservations must be made in advance.
The Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct its monthly breakfast Saturday, from 7-11 a.m.
Biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes will be served.
Share Food signups will take place from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, at First Christian Church.
Reelsville Elementary School will conduct its first Spring Carnival Saturday, from 4-7 p.m., at the school.
A pizza buffet will be featured along with other snacks and games.
In addition, a Cornhole Tournament for adults will take place at 2 p.m. Those interested may register the day of the tourney for $15. Cost to participate with early registration is $10.
The Brazil National Guard Armory will conduct its annual Jonah Fish Fry from 4-8 p.m., Saturday.
Carry-out and drive-thru will be available.
All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Christmas In The Park.
The menu will consist of fish, onion rings, baked beans, green beans, coleslaw and applesauce.
"Celebrating the 1960s," will be the theme for the 101st Cory Alumni banquet.
The banquet will take place at the Cory Community Center, Saturday, 2010. Social hour is scheduled for 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Those who attended Cory High School and did not receive an invitation are encouraged to call Sandra Marshall Davidson (812-877-2180), or Barbara Stater Plessinger (317-861-6185) for a reservation by May 1.
Come and meet old friends and share memories.
The monthly Ladies Luncheon, hosted by financial advisors Toni Carter and Lynsey Lunsford of Edward Jones, will take place May 11.
It will be at the American Legion Post 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil.
Cost for the meal is $9.
The guest speaker will be Rob Moore of Moore Funeral Home.

'Take 5' Rescheduled
"Take 5," a high energy, action packed evening for grade-schoolers and teens, has been rescheduled this month.
The event, originally scheduled for this Friday, has been rescheduled for Friday, May 14.
It will take place from 8-10 p.m., at the old junior high school gymnasium.
Food will be served and everything is free. Games will be offered.

The Wesley Chapel Food Pantry will be open Saturday, May 15, and will conduct "Appreciation Day" for all Food Pantry participants.
The event will take place from 9 a.m.-noon.
The Clay County Humane Society will conduct a Pet Shot Clinic from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at the Forest Park Pavilion.
All shots are $10 each.
The four shots available for dogs include the canine 5-in-1 vaccine, Lyme disease, Bortella and Rabies.
The three shots for cats include the feline 3-in-1 vaccine, feline leukemia and rabies vaccine.

The Brazil Public Library will be the site for a presentation on Doris Day in May.
The event is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m., May 20, and will be offered by Mary Anne Barothy, who was Day's personal assistant and also lived with the star.

City Yard Sale
The City of Linton will host its second City-Wide Yard Sale, rain or shine, Saturday, May 22.
The event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The annual Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled Senior Citizens Picnic will take place at Forest Park, May 28.
Cost is $8 per person, which includes entertainment, lunch, small games, goodie bag, exhibit booths, snacks and door prizes.

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County will host a yard sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., June 5, at Clover Signs, 34 E. National Ave., Brazil.
All proceeds will go to help build a home for a Clay County family.
