Seventh Evening of Music and Chocolate set for May 15

Thursday, May 6, 2010

TERRE HAUTE -- The seventh Evening of Music and Chocolate will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at Central Christian Church.

It is an evening of elegance and sublime musical entertainment, featuring vocalists Priscilla Hammons, Allissa Williams and Rebecca Zelensky, Jason Sloan (flute and oboe), and Karen Sagraves (piano).

The artists will provide musical programs ranging from songs of faith to Broadway ballads and a bit of everything in-between. Before and after each musical program, people can sample a variety of desserts.

While the emphasis is on chocolate, there will be non-chocolate and sugar-free desserts available.

Admission is $10 and includes the entertainment, drinks and one full-size dessert serving.

Additional full-size dessert servings may be purchased.

All proceeds benefit the Music Ministry of Central Christian Church and United Campus Ministry.

A preliminary list of area businesses participating with desserts and more include Baesler's Market, Golden Corral Restaurant, Goodies Galore, Logans Ribeye, MCL Cafeteria, Outback Steakhouse, Pino's Il Sonetto, Red Lobster Restaurant, The Sugar Shack, Sunrise Family Restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, Tony's Café, and Zamberletti Restaurant and Lounge.

The church is located at 4950 E. Wabash Ave., Terre Haute.
