She was born June 9, 1926, in Terre Haute, to William and Blanche (Tilley) Bryan.
Florence worked for CBS in Terre Haute for 20 years.
She also served as the custodian at the Church of the Nazarene in Brazil for several years.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Brazil. During her tenure at the church, she helped with the children in the nursery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Abraham Dickison, and daughter Rosanna Sharp, six sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by daughter Patricia M. Stedman and husband William, Rosedale, son Burthel Dickison II and wife Jacquelyn, Princeton, Ind., brother Clyde Bryan, Harmony, 11 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters and one step-great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 11 a.m., with pastor Gary Bechtel officiating.
Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m.
