Penny Wars!

The students at Meridian Elementary are making a difference. During the Clay Community Schools Penny Wars, students raised a total of $484.82, which will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Members of the student council presented the check include (front, from left) Team Development Chairperson for Clay County Relay for Life Kathy White, Jaycee McGinty, Cameron Pund, Ryan Brackman, Kierra Crabb, Myca Coffin, (back) Mary Burk, Cassidy Lummis, Scott Peebles, Rebecca Pefley, Gwendylan Reynolds and student council sponsors Amy Hardey and Katie Sims.
