On Sunday, members of the Clay County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at 10425 North County Road 300 West, where they discovered a methamphetamine lab, along with an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine and marijuana plants.
According to a press release from CCSD, the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was notified, and assisted in the dismantling of the meth lab.
Officials arrested Jeremy Montgomery, 30, without incident and transported him to the Clay County Justice Center without incident, where he is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
Although details are limited at this time due to the case remaining under investigation, Montgomery has been preliminarily charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia, Possession of Marijuana, Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Montgomery is scheduled to appear in Clay Superior Court per the court calendar.
