WEST TERRE HAUTE -- Registration is still available for the annual Fiber Frolic workshop June 17-20, at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
The event is hosted by White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
The workshop will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 17, and will conclude at 11 a.m., Sunday, June 20. The deadline to register is Thursday, June 3.
Concentration will be on beginning spinning, beginning felting, intermediate weaving and knitting for all stages. Knitters must know the knit and purl method.
Cost for the workshop is $200, which includes meals, instruction and materials.
Housing is available at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, but is not included in the registration fee.
