Grand Opening!

New Elegance Salon & Spa is planning a celebration in honor of it's grand opening, Saturday, located at 719 E. Jackson St., Brazil. On hand for the ribbon cutting Tuesday were (from left) Brazil Mayor Ann Bradshaw, Common Council of the City of Brazil President (Ward 3) Steve Lamb, Licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician (skin care specialist)/Bed Head makeup Educator Salon Owner Ashley Lear, family members Barbara Dowell, Peyton Lear, Debbie Pierce, Common Council member (At-Large) Pat Heffner, Brooks Lear, Larry Pierce and Clay County Chamber of Commerce Office Manager Tiffany Cook. Hours of operation will be from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., or by appointment. The salon will offer facials, facial and body waxing, makeup applications, foils and perms, haircuts (men and women), message therapy, hair and eyelash extensions, eyebrow and eyelash tenting. Finally a spray tanning booth in Brazil!! For all the cancer victims that want a little color once in a while without risking their lives again. If something like this will help boost the spirit of persons that have been told to be very careful of the sun, then very glad someone finally took notice. I know it is not permanant, but sometimes all it takes is a little confidence booster!!! Congrats to the owners for doing this. As a cancer survivor I say again "Thank You".
