The following is a list of information regarding upcoming area reunions as provided to The Brazil Times:

Sheese/Rambo Reunion

The Sheese/Rambo Reunion will take place Sunday, June 13, beginning with dinner at 11 a.m.

The event will take place at Forest Park Shelter No. 12.

MOAR Reunion

Every year since 1998, alumni of Brazil High School graduating classes from 1950-59 get together for the Mother of All Reunions (MOAR) at Forest Park.

The pitch-in picnic-style event takes place, rain or shine, on the third Saturday of each June and starts at 11 a.m.

This year, the reunion has been scheduled for June 19.

Dinner is scheduled for noon, but those interested in attending are encouraged to come early. Fellowship for a few hours will follow dinner.

The event will take place at the north end of the auditorium (the Cow Palace), not far from the band shell in the park.

The event is for graduates and their significant others (wife, husband, spouse-to-be, really good friend, etc.).

Those attending are also asked to bring a covered dish and their own table service in addition to non-alcoholic beverages.

Minnick-Crabb Reunion

The Minnick-Crabb Reunion will take place at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 19, at Double M Diner.

Call Susie Minnick Freeman at 443-1809 or 812-240-5878 by June 16, and relay the message to all family members.

Quincy Alumni Reunion

The Quincy reunion will take place June 19.

A luncheon will be served at noon at the Hilltop Restaurant. The Hilltop is located 13 miles south of Cloverdale and three miles north of Spencer.

A special celebration of the 60th anniversary of the class of 1950 will take place. All graduates and eighth-graders are encouraged to attend the luncheon.

The Quincy Alumni Association also gives out a scholarship each year to a graduate who has had relatives who attended the school. This year's recipient is Kevin Dean, a 2010 graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Anyone interested in being placed on the mailing list or wishes to attend the banquet this year should contact Nancy Knox at 812-835-5421.

Brunette Bussing Reunion

The Brunette Bussing Reunion will take place Saturday, June 26, as a family golf outing/picnic.

Tee-times are set for noon, at Mark's Par-3 Golf Course, Terre Haute, in addition to 5-9 p.m., Saturday, June 26.

A game night will take place beginning at 9 p.m., with a bowling tournament at Imperial Lanes.

The family picnic will take place Sunday, June 27, at Forest Park Shelter No. 9.

Bring a covered dish. Chicken will be provided.

Bring photos, board and yard games.

Nichols Reunion

The Nichols Reunion will take place at 12:30 p.m., June 27, at Forest Park.

Pass the word to everyone in the family and bring a basket dinner.

Celebrating the 40th

The Brazil High School class of 1970 will celebrate its 40th class reunion July 3, at 6:30 p.m., at Oak Ridge Golf Course.

Addresses are still needed for Mike Mishler, Bonnie Harmon, Debbie Julbert Milner, Chris Hutchinson, Veronica Frazier, Gary Welch, Betty Zentko Cotton, Lucy Lathrop, Paul Reiner, Deborah K. Burk Rao, Sharon Hadley, Mary Irwin and Mike Taylor.

BHS class of 1960

The Brazil High School class of 1960 will conduct a reunion celebrating 50 years since its graduation.

The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Oak Ridge Golf Club.

A punch reception will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7. Addresses are being updated and a mailing will go out soon.
