Library program guests announced

Every Wednesday until July 21, the Brazil Public Library will conduct Summer Reading Programs.

The event begins at 1:30 p.m., each day.

Those interested in attending do not have to have a library card to participate in the weekly programs, but those wanting to take part in the reading club and claim prizes must have a valid library card.

The programs are free and open to the public.

The following is a list of programs scheduled to take place:

* Wednesday -- WTHI meteorologist David Wire will speak,

* June 23 -- "Pond Life," at Dobbs Park,

* June 30 -- Brazil City police and fire department officials will speak,

* July 7 -- A magician is scheduled,

* July 14 -- Make your own Lava bottle with Edie Richards, and

* July 21 -- Meet Max (from Max and Ruby).
