Tommy L. Simpson, 39, Brazil, died at 7:33 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2010, in the emergency room at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

He was born Feb. 8, 1971, in Brazil, as the son of Robert E. and Patsy Urton Simpson. He graduated from Northview High School. He was employed as an extruder operator at General Cable.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Connie Summers, brother Robert E. Simpson Jr., and grandparents Urb and Florence Kaelber, Nancy and John Urton and Harry and Elsie Meyer.

He is survived by sisters Sandy Wilson (Lenny), Nancy (John) Nugent, Phyllis (John) Peterson, Rita (Nathan) Overman, and Delia (Philip) Pierce, brothers Curtis Simpson and Danny J. Simpson, loving companion of more than 10 years Jeanne Barr, and her children Dallas Barr, Garrett Barr and Lyndsey Rost, several aunts and cousins and friends, Chuck (Brenda) Neese and Teresa Stultz and her son Jerod and her daughter Jennifer (Charlie) Goodwin and their children, Lilly and Noah.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Thursday, June 17, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery.
