Church offering 'The Cool Spot' again

Monday, June 21, 2010

The Brazil Nazarene Church, 1002 E. National Ave., Brazil, is once again offering the Cool Spot.

On weekdays, when the temperature is more than 90-degrees, the church will open its family center from 2-6 p.m., for those looking for opportunities for a cool place to take a load off, have a drink, watch movies, read a book, play board games, and make new friends.

The event is free for anyone needing to cool off.

For more information, call the church at 446-0371 or Erin Hood at 448-3188.

How wonderful this is. With the tempatures in the high 90s and high humidity, how nice it would be to have a cool drink, watch a movie or play cards or just sit in the cool air. A lot of people do not have air conditioning and some don't even have a fan. I sure hope those folks take advantage of the Brazil Nazarene Church's offer.

Thank you good church folks. God bless.
