Clay County Sheriff Mike Heaton informed The Brazil Times that all county roads are currently open despite recent heavy rains.
Heaton said there were a handful of hydroplaning incidents early Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service based in Indianapolis had issued a flash flood watch until 8 a.m., Tuesday.
In addition, the service has issued a heat advisory from 1-7 p.m., today.
The service is calling for a partly cloudy day with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms. Highs are expected in the mid-90s.
