CENTER POINT -- The 55th Center Point Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry has been scheduled to take place Saturday.
The event will take place in town at the firehouse, located on Main Street in Center Point, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
There will be two serving lines and drive through pickup at the rear of the firehouse.
The meal will consist of Jonah Club Fried Fish, baked beans, homemade slaw, green beans, applesauce, homemade pies and cakes along with iced tea or coffee.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Live entertainment has been scheduled. In addition, a dunking booth will be on site and ring toss game will be set up.
The annual heavyweight horse pull will begin at 8 p.m.
This is the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department's main revenue for the year in order to keep the department operational.
