Eric and Christopher Gambill

Eric Gambill recently was promoted to Lt. Colonel. He is the son of Larry Gambill, Hobart and Barbara Glancy, Carbon.

Eric and his wife Cindy Byers Gambill, both 1984 Portage High School graduates, attended a promotion ceremony in which their son, Christopher Gambill received his 2nd. Lt. Colonal bars. Both Eric and Chrisopher are members of the Indiana National Guard.

The Gambill's are from Bainbridge.

Cole A. Stultz

Pvt. Cole A. Stultz, 19-years-old, is the son of Pam Buck and Dean Stultz. He is a 2009 graduate of Northview High Shool and graduated from the United States Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., on June 11, 2010.

Pvt. Stultz successfully completed 16 weeks of One Station Unit Training (OSUT) specializing in Combat Engineering.

During graduation, Pvt. Stultz received the IN-4 award. This Battalion Commander's Award is presented to the Engineering Soldier who displayed the most outstanding appearance, knowledge and bearing during the uniform, weapons and barracks inspections.

Following a brief leave, Pvt. Stultz has reported for duty at Fort Hood, Texas, with his wife, Tayler.

Honor these Soldiers by getting the terms correct. For Christopher Gambill his rank is Second Leiutenant. Not 2nd Lt. Colonel. No such rank exists.

For Pvt. Stultz he did not graduate from the Army, he graduated from Basic Training & Advanced Individual Training.

Congratulations to both Soldiers! You are the future!
