Working on the line

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

Brazil Water Department employees worked to repair a 6-inch water line which was leaking Wednesday afternoon on Brazil Street, between Leavitt and Grant streets. Staff at area nursing homes and the hospital were notified of the potential for the city's water supply being temporarily being shut off, but crews were able to clamp the line and make the repairs without doing so.
