She was born April 19, 1937, in Brazil, as the daughter of John and Lillian Harris Reese. Following graduation from high school, she attended the Indiana Business College and began a career with the Indiana Duplicators firm as office manager. In recent years, she had worked at the Clay County YMCA and most recently was the director of the Community Food Pantry. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Brazil.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Reese.
She is survived by three sons Jeff Lohrman (Carrie), Lafayette, Mike Clifton (Terry), Kansas City, Kan., and Ron Lohrman, Panama City Beach, Fla, two daughters Rhonda Swisher (John), Indianapolis, and Karen Trout, Brazil, nine grandchildren Tami Bryan, Gwen James, Heather Martin, Tony Trout, Cooper Trout, Amanda Clifton, Payton Russell, Monica Adams and Ben Trout, great-grandchildren Christian Bryan, Hannah Bryan, Dakota James, Ava James, Emma Martin, Jacob, Ashton and McKenzie, one brother Larry Reese, and other extended family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil.
