The following is a list of information regarding upcoming area reunions as provided to The Brazil Times:

Vanatti Family Reunion

The Vanatti Family reunion will take place Saturday.

Gathering starts at 11 a.m., and prayer to begin the meal is at 12:30 p.m.

Family and extended family of Claude and Mildred Vanatti are invited to attend.

The reunion is at Mary Vanatti Reisinger's spot on Walnut Creek

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, drinks and a lawn chair.

Hamburgers and hot dogs with fixings will be provided.

Stevenson, Squires Reunion

The James and Ray Stevenson, Sarah Squires Reunion will take place Saturday, at Harmony Park.

Friends and family are invited to this gathering, which will begin at noon, at the first shelter.

Northview class of 2000

The Northview High School class of 2000 will conduct its 10-year reunion Saturday, at the Clay County Fairgrounds.

Social hour, with appetizers, will be from 6-7 p.m., with a dinner planned for 7 p.m. Music, dancing and a cash bar will be available until 11 p.m.

West Reunion

The West Reunion will take place Sunday, at Forest Park Shelter No. 9.

Eslinger Family Reunion

The Eslinger Family Reunion will take place Sunday, at 1 p.m., at Miller Park, St. Bernice, Ind.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and as many family members as possible.

Games and prizes will be available for all ages.

Rhea Reunion

The 100th Rhea Reunion will take place Sunday, at the Eminence Christian Church, one block east of State Road 42 in Eminence.

Dinner will take place at 1 p.m.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and table servings.

Drinks will be furnished.

This is the final scheduled annual family reunions due to previous years of lower attendance.

Crafton Reunion

The Crafton Reunion will take place Sunday, at Abundant Life Worship Center, Clay City.

Doors will be open at 12:30 p.m., and dinner will take place at 1 p.m.

West Cousin Reunion

West Cousin Reunion and families and friends of (E.R. and Eva West) will meet Sunday, at Forest Park Shelter No. 9.

The event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, vegetables or desserts. Table service, drinks and meat will be furnished.

The event is a luau so come dressed in Hawaiian attire.

Flockhart Reunion

The James and Belle Flockhart Reunion will be at noon, Saturday, Aug. 14 in the first shelter at Harmony Park.

Megenhardt Reunion

The 70th Megenhardt Family Reunion will take place Sunday, Aug. 22, at Forest Park.

Carry-in lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Beverages will be furnished.

Baysinger Reunion

The Baysinger Family Reunion will take place Aug. 15, at Forest Park Shelter No. 9.

Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Chamberlain Reunion

The Chamberlain Reunion will take place Aug. 28, at Forest Park Shelter No. 12, north of the Forest Park Pavilion.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and table service.

BHS class of 1960

Letters have been sent to classmates about the 50th reunion of the Brazil High School class of 1960.

It will take place Saturday, Aug. 28, at Oak Ridge Golf Club. Punch reception will start at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow.

Activities are also planned for Aug. 27, and an Aug. 29 brunch.

Current/correct addresses are needed for the following classmates: Susan Albitz, Richard Auten, Donna Ashby Campbell, Larry Bowman, Kathy Cole, Dick Green, Linda Harris, Jim McClannahan, Tom McDonald and Carolyn Lee Payne.

Class of 1962

The Brazil High School class of 1962 will conduct an informal reunion Sunday, Aug. 29, at Forest Park, Picnic Shelter No. 1, on the west side of the park, west of the band shell, north of the tennis courts.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

A pot-luck picnic is planned. Those who wish can bring a dish. The meal is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Coolers and ice for drinks, table coverings, table ware, paper plates, napkins and cups will be provided.

Wells Reunion

The 117th Wells Reunion will take place at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5, at the Forest Park Pavilion.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a well-filled picnic basket.

The Lawrence Family Reunion will take place Sept. 12, at Jackson Township Fire Department.

Festivities will begin at 1 p.m.

Those interested in attending should bring a covered dish and place settings.

Drinks will be provided.

Brazil Class of 1980

The Brazil High School Class of 1980 will conduct its reunion Oct. 2, 2010, at the Lake House Restaurant.

Those interested in attending should RSVP by Sept. 1.

The Van Buren High School class of 1970 will have its 40th reunion Saturday, Oct. 9.
