She was born July 23, 1927, in Marshall, Ill., to Don F. Brown and Amy Rose McNary Brown.
Martha had previously been employed at F.W. Woolworth Drug Store and Union Hospital, where she met her husband.
Most recently, she had worked at CBS Records from which she retired.
She was a graduate of Marshall High School and was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Donald Price, who passed away in 1980, her brother Homer I. Brown, and her granddaughter Kimberly Price.
She is survived by son Timothy Price and his wife Delores, Terre Haute, daughters Christina Compton and husband Jake, Terre Haute, Sonna Phillips and her husband Gene, Terre Haute, and Tammy Hendricks and her husband Terry, Brazil, sisters Della Bender, Terre Haute, Elsie Rooney, Terre Haute, Anita Crumrin, Terre Haute, and Norma Pittenger, West Union, Ill., grandchildren Tiffany Turner and her husband Shawn, Amanda Hendricks, Brian Phillips, Stephanie Price, Donald Scott Hendricks and Darin Phillips, great-grandchildren Austin Turner, Nicholas Turner and Noah Cogar and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m., at Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Rev. Keith Taylor will be officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
