The following is a list of information regarding upcoming area reunions as provided to The Brazil Times:

Flockhart Reunion

The James and Belle Flockhart Reunion will be at noon, Saturday, in the first shelter at Harmony Park.

Megenhardt Reunion

The 70th Megenhardt Family Reunion will take place Sunday, Aug. 22, at Forest Park.

Carry-in lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Beverages will be furnished.

Baysinger Reunion

The Baysinger Family Reunion will take place Aug. 15, at Forest Park Shelter No. 9.

Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Chamberlain Reunion

The Chamberlain Reunion will take place Aug. 28, at Forest Park Shelter No. 12, north of the Forest Park Pavilion.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and table service.

BHS class of 1960

Letters have been sent to classmates about the 50th reunion of the Brazil High School class of 1960.

It will take place Saturday, Aug. 28, at Oak Ridge Golf Club. Punch reception will start at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow. Activities are also planned for Aug. 27, and an Aug. 29 brunch. Current/correct addresses are needed for the following classmates: Susan Albitz, Richard Auten, Donna Ashby Campbell, Larry Bowman, Kathy Cole, Dick Green, Linda Harris, Jim McClannahan, Tom McDonald and Carolyn Lee Payne.

Class of 1962

The Brazil High School class of 1962 will conduct an informal reunion Sunday, Aug. 29, at Forest Park, Picnic Shelter No. 1, on the west side of the park, west of the band shell, north of the tennis courts.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. A pot-luck picnic is planned. Those who wish can bring a dish. The meal is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Coolers and ice for drinks, table coverings, table ware, paper plates, napkins and cups will be provided. Wells Reunion

The 117th Wells Reunion will take place at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5, at the Forest Park Pavilion.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a well-filled picnic basket.

Drinks will be furnished.

Lawrence Family Reunion

The Lawrence Family Reunion will take place Sept. 12, at Jackson Township Fire Department. Festivities will begin at 1 p.m.

Those interested in attending should bring a covered dish and place settings.

Drinks will be provided.

Brazil Class of 1980

The Brazil High School Class of 1980 will conduct its reunion Oct. 2, 2010, at the Lake House Restaurant.

Those interested in attending should RSVP by Sept. 1.

The class has also established a Facebook page.

Van Buren Class of 1970

The Van Buren High School class of 1970 will have its 40th reunion Saturday, Oct. 9.
