David Davidson, 62, Brazil, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 14, 2010, at his residence.
He was born in Connersville, Ind., Jan. 19, 1948, the son of Dave Frank and Ruth (Johnson) Davidson.
He attended Connersville High School, later receiving his GED and then a degree in landscaping.
He enlisted with the United States Marine Corps and served 13 months in Vietnam. While there, he was injured in battle, later returning to the fight and went on to be honorably discharged with a Purple Heart.
After returning to the states, he worked as a Landscaper in California and Arizona. Over the last 23 years, he worked as a truck driver for several companies, most recently KBT Trucking, based out of Fishers, Ind. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and watching television.
He was preceded in death by his father Dave Davidson, and daughter Delta Dawn Davidson.
Survivors include his mother Ruth Githens and husband Bill, Brazil, daughter Yvonne Stephens and husband Eddie, Fountaintown, Ind., grandchildren Peyton Stephens, Chase Stephens and Ben Stephens, brother Frank Davidson and wife Jennifer, Connersville, and Ron Davidson, Austin, Texas.
At his request, cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home, Brazil.
