The skies above the Brazil-Clay Airport will be filled with radio controlled model airplanes Sunday, Aug. 22, with the Brazil Winged Modelers will host the Don May Memorial Air Show to benefit Muscular Dystrophy (MDA).
The event will take place from noon-4 p.m., and will feature some of the best radio control pilots in the Midwest, who will also give demonstration flights with R/C Model planes ranging from Piper Cubs to Highly Detailed Warbirds.
Visitors will be able to get "up close" looks at the planes and will also have an opportunity to fly an R/C Model. There will be a flight simulator under the hands of an experienced instructor.
As an additional attraction, an Air-Evac Helicopter and crew will be on-hand to explain the services offered by Air-Evac from the Brazil-Clay Airport.
All donations from the event will go to MDA.
