An 18x24 painting of Marbelhead Light House located on Sandusky Bay on Lake Erie is ready for the Eighth Annual Popcorn Festival of Clay County.

Three local artists worked on various areas of the project. Joyce Jensen did the sky and trees, Julie Bricker created the light house and Carol Nickey finished the picture with the water and rocks.

All proceeds will benefit the Senior Center located on Franklin Street in Brazil. Tickets are available at the Senior Center for $1 each, or six for $5. The drawing will be held at the end of the Popcorn Festival. There will be a limited number of prints also.

Anyone interested in painting or drawing is invited to join the Tuesday morning art group. Each person brings their own material and project. There is no charge, just good fellowship.

For more information contact the Senior Center between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday - Friday, at 812 -448-8848.
