Cruise-In Car Show set

Monday, September 6, 2010

Exceptional Living Center of Brazil, 501 S. Murphy Ave., a skilled not-for-profit senior living and rehabilitation facility, is inviting the community to attend its second 50s and 60s Cruise-In Car Show, Craft and Vendor Fair Saturday, Sept. 11.

The event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Those interested in attending can cruise back to the days of poodle skirts and muscle cars, or shop until they drop at the craft and vendor fair.

Several awards will be presented at the event, including a trophy for Best of Show. Dash Plaques will be given out to the first 50 entrants.

Enjoy live entertainment, which will be provided by Just Cruisin' Mobile DJ services.

Food will be available for purchase as well as door prizes.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit holiday care packages to support troops.

The Color Guard from the V.F.W. of Brazil will perform a special flag presentation.

All current and former military veterans who attend will also receive a special patriotic pin.

Vendors or car owners wishing to participate should call Exceptional Living Center at 446-2636 for more information.

Ask for Rachelle.
