The Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a second meeting from 4-9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Staunton Community Center.
The brainstorming session will be led by Architecture Plus (Project Architect/Engineer) and BSA Life Structures (Coommissioning Agent).
Active involvement of all community members is needed to generate ideas regarding the project's energy/environment; building interior spaces; program activities and site and exterior.
Specifically, BSA Lifestyles will lead an eco-charrette, focusing on sustainable ideas for delivering LEED certification requirements.
Collectively, these activities will help shape the conceptual designs of the fire station.
Once the conceptual designs are created in late September into October, drawings will be presented to the public for review and comment.
