With a potential sectional opponent visiting Northview on Tuesday night, the Knights' tennis team made a small lineup change and came away with a 4-1 victory over Greencastle.

The No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots remained the same as Carson Kleiber and Caleb Mershon cruised easily in straight sets. How-ever, Bryce Britton moved up to the third spot and lost a dogfight with the Tiger Cubs' Joey Kess, 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).

In the No. 1 singles spot, Kleiber defeated Landon Miller, 6-0, 6-1 and Mershon won 6-0, 6-0 over Cy Spencer.

"Carson Kleiber and Caleb Mershon once again were dominant in singles matches," coach Craig Cook said. "Caleb's confidence is growing and the results are what I am expecting of him."

In doubles play, Joey Thomas and Sam Miller combined to pick up a 6-0, 6-2 win over the Tiger Cubs and in the No. 2 match, Dillon Reynolds teamed with Cole Watts for a 6-0, 6-0 win over A.J. Geralds and Matt Hendricks.

"Our doubles teams once again picked up decisive victories," Cook said. "The combination of Cole Watts and Dillon Reynolds was fun to watch. They combined for a very strong doubles performance tonight."
