The Northview freshmen football team scored a 20-16 conference win over visiting Brown County on Thursday night.
The Knights scored the go-ahead touchdown with a minute remaining on the clock following an 85-yard drive that was set up by an interception by Tyler Rector.
Scotty McGuffin scored the game-winning touchdown on a five-yard run. The Knights' offensive line was key on the drive as Corbin Fretz, Craig Rice, Cody Minor, Trent Nevins, Carson Herron and Daniel Kimball opened up huge holes for the running backs.
The first Northview touchdown came on a five-yard run from Conner Pierce and Kimball hauled in the second score on a 12-yard pass from Jeremy Mafioli. McGuffin scored the lone conversion for the Knights.
The Knights are back in action on Sept. 15 on the road at Owen Valley beginning at 6:30 p.m.
