CPC sets up Walk for Life

Sunday, September 12, 2010

Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil will conduct its Walk for Life Saturday, Sept. 25, at 9 a.m.

The event is simple. There are no long hikes, as the walk is only two miles.

There is no collecting of money by anyone other than Crisis Pregnancy Center representatives and no long commitments.

The event is expected to last one hour.

Those interested in taking part are asked to pick up a sponsor form at the CPC, 20 N. Meridian St., Brazil, or at local churches.

From there, find a few friends and family members to sponsor with a one-time pledge (or self-pledge) and then walk.

Those interested may walk on their own, or join others at the parking lot of First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Meridian St., Brazil.

Funds raised will go to serve the Clay County community.

The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil offers confidential services that include pregnancy, STD/HIV tests, supplies such as maternity and baby clothes, and other items; as well as support groups and teaching sessions.
