TERRE HAUTE -- There is a need in Vigo and the surrounding counties for transportation services for medical purposes to Indianapolis, and a need for door-to-door evening transportation for seniors.
Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled, the WILL Center, Wabash Senior Activity Center and Senior Education Ministries, Inc., are partnering to provide an information session and luncheon to retrieve input from seniors and organization professionals about the need.
Information gathered from the event will support the application, "Better Together," grant being given by the Wabash Valley Community Foundation.
The event is scheduled to take place Monday, at the Vigo County Public Library, in meeting rooms A and C, and is set to start at 10:30 a.m.
A free lunch will be provided.
