The second Brazil Main Street, Inc., Music Fest, will take place Friday and Saturday at the Brazil National Guard Armory.
Activities begin 6 p.m., Friday, and 4 p.m., Saturday.
The Holy Rosary Yard Sale will take place Friday and Saturday.
The event will run from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday.
It will take place at Schelly Hall in Seelyville, located on the north side of United States 40, just east of the stoplight.

The Rotary Club of Brazil will conduct a Coffee and Club Talk Friday, from 6-7 p.m., at the Brazil Coffee Company, 533 E. National Ave., Brazil.
The club is inviting all to attend the meeting.
The first regular cup of coffee for each attendee will be free, courtesy of the Rotary Club. A 30-minute discussion about Rotary will also take place.
Door prizes will be drawn at the close of the meeting.
The discussions will take place during the third Friday of each month.
The Y of Clay County will host a youth dance Friday, from 8-10:30 p.m.
Cost is $5. Children interested in attending are encouraged to bring their identification or something that indicates they are either in the sixth-, seventh- or eighth-grade.
Milo Miller has been tapped to DJ the dance.
The Y staff and volunteers will chaperone the event and parents are welcome to stay and help chaperone.

House of Hope, 5525 W. United States 40, Brazil, will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, Saturday.
Platters will be served from 8 a.m.-noon.
A $5 donation will cover each person served.
All proceeds will go toward the general needs and bills of the ministry.
A tour and explanation of the programs offered at House of Hope will be available by staff.

Mike Gentry, Executive Director of the Indiana House Republican Campaign Caucus, will speak at the Clay County Republican Headquarters Monday.
The headquarters are located at 15 Forest Park Plaza, Brazil.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and is sponsored by the Clay County Republican Club.

The credit union is encouraging residents to come in and signup for a free gift basket giveaway, scheduled for Oct. 1.

A chili cookoff benefit for the Riley Children's Hospital Burn Unit has been scheduled to take place from 2-4:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, as part of the Popcorn Festival of Clay County.
The event will be people's choice. Cost is $10 to enter.
The contest will take place at the Forest Park Pavilion.
Contestants need to cook or bring two gallons of chili to serve (free).
Prizes will be determined by the amount of donations collected.

The Clay County Republican Club will host a Freedom Concert at North Clay Middle School.
The event will take place from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8.
Live entertainment and food will be provided.
The Center Point Town Council will conduct its October meeting Saturday, Oct. 9, at the town hall, beginning at 9 a.m.
The adoption of the proposed 2011 budget is on the agenda.

The St. Vincent Clay Hospital Foundation will conduct the seventh "Festival of Trees," from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13.
