TERRE HAUTE -- Baesler's of Terre Haute recently announced it is partnering with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to bring a night of wine and food.
The store will sample 150 wines (from very affordable to expensive) as well as several microbrew beers and ales.
The event is scheduled to take place from 7-10 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Ohio Building.
Baesler's chef Chris Kraut will prepare hors d'oeuvres as well.
Meats and cheeses will also be available.
Individual tickets cost $15. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Wabash Valley Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In addition, 25 percent of all net wine proceeds from the event will be donated to the Komen affiliate. Nearly 80 percent of all donations collected by the local affiliate remain in the Wabash Valley.
Baesler's will slash prices for the event to reflect the discounts of the year. Cash, personal checks and credit cards will be accepted.
Tickets may be purchased at Baesler's Market, Boos Crossroads Café, and the Wabash Valley Komen Affiliate (located in The Meadows).
