A handful of ghosts might make an appearance in Brazil Thursday.
The Indiana Ghost Trackers will be at the Brazil Public Library, beginning at 6:30 p.m., to discuss the organization among other items.
Brazil Public Library Public Service Supervisor Tammy Robison said the group is similar to Ghost Hunters, which appears on television.
"It's a statewide thing," Robison told The Brazil Times. "They just have different chapters."
The Terre Haute Chapter -- led by Jenny Whitlow -- will be at the library. The chapter is one of 16 statewide. According to www.indianaghosts.org, the organization also has a chapter located in Chicago.
"Everyone is interested in (ghost trackers) right now," Robison said. "It's the hot thing right now."
According to the organization's website, Indiana Ghost Trackers, Inc., "... investigates paranormal activity using photography, voice recording, video and other technology that aids in the detection of unexplained phenomena. We provide no cost to home and business investigations while maintaining privacy to all those requesting our help."
Formed in 2000 by Mike McDowell, Robison said Indiana Ghost Trackers has approximately 500 members statewide.
