He was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Brazil, as the son of John and Lillian Harris Reese.
He graduated from Brazil High School where he was a member of the undefeated football team.
He married Sandra Kay Bullerdick, Sept. 13, 1961.
During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Air Force until his honorable discharge.
He was employed at Allison's in Indianapolis and then for JC Penney Co., for 27 years as IT manager. He enjoyed his family and playing golf and was a member of the Columbus, Ohio, Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob Reese, and sister Norma Bunton.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Reese, sons Douglas Reese and John Reese, both of Columbus, Ohio, daughter Kelly Hazelwood (Don), Logan, Ohio, grandchildren Cassidy Giametta and Nicholas Hazelwood, brothers- and sisters-in-law Ron and Carolyn Paver, Patricia Rowings, and Don and Delores Bullerdick, aunt and uncle Imogene and Wayne Harris, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
