Street corner to be closed

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

The corner of Depot and Hendrix streets in Brazil will be closed temporarily today due to the demolition of a property in the area.

The demolition is part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

How's a girl supposed to make a living with the "street corner closed"??? (No, it's not my corner. lol None of them are, but thanks for thinking of me. ; )

Really glad to see this building gone. It made the corner of Depot and Hendrix a really bad spot traffic wise.

Obviously when this building was erected there were no property codes as far as set backs. It was literally built right on the edge of the sidewalk and property line.

I think I know what building you're referring to .. it literally sat partially on the sidewalk.
