Emma "Lorene" (Harris) Russell, 92, Clay County, passed away Oct. 9, 2010, at Cloverleaf Health Care, Knightsville.

She was born July 25, 1918, in Clay County, the daughter of Ivan and Mary (Stevenson) Harris.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Harold Liddle and John Russell, son Ronald Moore, daughter Carolyn Sue Metz, daughter in infancy Patricia Moore, son-in-law John A. "Jack" Metz, brothers James Harris and Wes Harris and sister Mildred France.

Survivors include her grandchildren Fred Metz and wife Lisa, and David Metz, all of Brazil, Dawn Merritt and husband Tom, Plainfield, Doug and Randy Moore, both of Plainfield, daughter-in-law Darlene Moore, Plainfield, great-grandchildren Chase Moore, Shane Moore, Hope Moore and Courtney Moore, all of Plainfield, Sami Metz, and Jessica Metz, both of Brazil, sister Mary O. Miller, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at 1 p.m., with Brother Dick McShanog officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home, from 11 a.m., until time of services.
