Staunton Community Center

On Thursday, Oct. 28, the Center will host a brunch from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A variety of breakfast foods, including pancakes, sausage, and biscuits and gravy, will be available at reasonable prices. This brunch is open to the public and all proceeds will go into the operation and maintenance of the Center.

Here's another reminder that the Community Center's first Craft Show will be on Saturday, Nov. 20. If you would like to set up to sell homemade crafts, call Kelly Kirchner at 442-8608. The cost is $15 if you use one of the Center's tables, or $10 if you bring your own table. Call soon, because space is limited.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations, and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.

If you have news to share, you can call me at 448-1591 or send it to 4954 W. Happy Holler Rd., Brazil. All news is greatly appreciated.
